Wood Partners will build a new luxury community in Gilbert


Wood Partners, a national leader in the development and acquisition of multi-family properties, recently closed on a new property located in the heart of the planned 650-acre community of Cooley Station in Gilbert, Arizona. When completed, the new community – Alta Cooley Station – will include 248 apartment homes comprising of studio, one, two and three bedroom floor plans. This community is expected to open in the first quarter of 2022.

The Alta Cooley station will offer the best equipment and finishes in its category that will allow the community to stand out in the market. Each apartment will feature plank-style flooring, modern cabinetry with quartz countertops, backlit bathroom mirrors, and Whirlpool® appliances, including a selection of side-by-side and French-door refrigerators.

Community facilities that residents can enjoy will include a resort pool with sun deck, a state-of-the-art fitness center and micro-fitness rooms with Echelon Reflect mirrors. Other amenities highlights will include a speakeasy lounge, coworking conference, and micro-desks, plus a sunset rooftop terrace with plush seating and TVs.

Located south of Recker Road, the new community will be located in the center of one of Gilbert most desirable areas, Verde at Cooley station. This masters-planned mixed-use community will feature a variety of new retail, restaurant and office amenities, providing Alta Cooley Station residents with a walkable lifestyle in a work destination, of entertainment and life.

The Verde community will also feature public murals and colorful neighborhood graphics, large-scale sculptures in public spaces, a green space and a children’s play area. A scheduled performance hall will host a variety of events throughout the year for residents to enjoy.

Gilbert is located just outside Phoenix with easy access to surrounding areas via US Interstate 60 and Loop 202. A future railroad line will also allow residents to commute quickly to downtown areas in many area cities metropolitan. The main employers in the region are Intel, Boeing, Lockheed Martin and the Arizona State University Polytechnic campus. The Great Valley is also home to a variety of outdoor destinations including Camelback Mountain, Desert Botanical Garden, South Mountain Park & ​​Preserve, and numerous golf courses.
