Toradora returns with 15th anniversary illustration


Toradora! Illustrator Yasu is releasing a new artwork featuring fan favorite characters in commemoration of the 15th anniversary of the light novel series.

Yasu, the illustrator of the light novel series Toradora!, created a new work of art to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the popular romantic comedy.

The commemorative artwork depicts the series’ beloved main and secondary characters as they lounging in their classroom. Taiga Aisaka, one of the Toradora!The characters in the title, stand in the foreground of the image as she brandishes her iconic wooden sword over her shoulder, ready to take down anyone who dares cross her. Ryuji Takasu, the protagonist of the show’s point of view, sits at a desk as he watches Taiga with his precocious parakeet Inko-chan by his side. The couple are surrounded by their friends and classmates, including Minori Kushieda and Yusaku Kitamura, Ryuji and Taiga’s longtime crushes respectively.

The accompanying text also announces that new projects celebrating the series will be unveiled in the coming days. Dengeki Bunko, the imprint under which the Toradora! light novels have been published, have already teased these new projects last month, although details on exactly what they will be or involve have yet to be released.
