The Musée de l’Homme organizes clay modeling courses for housewives


Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalya (IGRMS), Bhopal runs courses for housewives in learning portrait sketching and portrait/mural clay modeling and casting. Today the director of the museum, Praveen Kumar Mishra, inaugurated this program.

At the beginning of the program, all the participants introduced themselves, on this occasion. Dr Mishra said that after a very long hiatus, fortunately this program has started today. The purpose of this program is to bring out the hidden creativity of housewives. Due to family responsibility, they are not able to highlight them. It is a knowledge sharing system. This program will serve the purpose and would be beneficial for you as well as the institution.

About the program K. Seshadri, Modeler – coordinator of the program said that due to the current pandemic situation, the number of participants will be limited to 06 people per group (3 groups maximum). Art/raw materials will be provided on payment. Classes will last 3 hours on Saturday and Sunday from February 20, 2022 to March 19, 2022.

To date, 18 participants have registered for the program. The program is scheduled from February 20, 2022 to March 19, 2022, every Saturday and Sunday for three hours (maximum 8 sessions).
