Earlier, Snoop Dogg and Champ Medici’s collaboration with ClayNation was revealed.
In this sense, Snoop Dogg and the founder of Cardano, Charles Hoskinson, met in an epic Twitter space to discuss the Cardano ecosystem, music, and NFTs on April 5.
Clay Mates’ Clay Nation is a collection of 10,000 Cardano NFT avatars comprised of handcrafted clay grades. An algorithm then stitches multiple qualities together to generate each unique Clay Nation NFT.
Coincidentally, Snoop Dogg’s NFT collections are launched as the Cardano network celebrates a new milestone.
According to Morgana Schofield, responsible for growing the Cardano ecosystem, the network has now issued over four million native tokens across approximately 50,000 minting policies. The increase in the number of minted non-fungible artworks and projects is linked to both the growth of the Cardano network and the resurgence of the NFT industry.
Pavia, Cardano’s first Metaverse project, recently reported that there are now over 22,000 landowners, or unique wallet holders, of pavia.io land NFTs. Pavia, which officially launched as the first Cardano Metaverse in January, was named after Pavia, the birthplace of Gerolamo (Jerome) Cardano in 1501 Italy.
Cardano ecosystem and ADA price action
Cardano is experiencing massive growth in the number of projects and on-chain activity. Almost 900 projects currently rely on Cardano, with NFT Marketplaces accounting for 3.6% and NFT Collections accounting for a larger share of 47.9%.
At press time, ADA is trading down 2% to $1.02, per CoinMarketCap, and ranks eighth among cryptocurrencies by market capitalization.
