By value, Germany ($2.5 billion), France ($1.5 billion) and Belgium ($1.3 billion) were the countries with the highest supply levels in 2021 , with a combined share of 65% of total exports.
Among the major exporting countries, Germany, with a CAGR of +29.8%, experienced the highest growth rate in export value over the past decade, while shipments from other leaders experienced more modest growth rates.

The average export price of acrylic polymers in the European Union stood at $2,320 per ton in 2021, up 18% from the previous year. Average prices varied somewhat between major exporting countries. In 2021, the main exporting countries recorded the following prices: in the Netherlands ($2,650 per ton) and Germany ($2,311 per ton), while Belgium ($2,044 per ton) and Poland ( $2,102 per ton) were among the lowest. Germany (482,000 tons), Italy (360,000 tons), Poland (346,000 tons), France (294,000 tons), Belgium (280,000 tons), the Netherlands (244,000 tons ) and Spain (198,000 tonnes) accounted for around 75% of total imports in 2021. Sweden (128,000 tonnes), the Czech Republic (125,000 tonnes), Austria (102,000 tonnes), Denmark (61 000 tonnes), Finland (57,000 tonnes) and Portugal (45,000 tonnes) absorbed a minor share of total purchases.
In terms of value, the largest acrylic polymer import markets in the European Union were Germany ($1.2 billion), Italy ($819 million) and Poland ($679 million), together representing 41% of total supplies. These countries were followed by France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Austria, Denmark, Finland and Portugal, which together accounted for an additional 51%.
The Czech Republic, with a CAGR of +5.3%, recorded the highest growth rates in import value among major importing countries over the past decade. The purchases of the other leaders experienced more modest growth rates.

In 2021, the average import price for acrylic polymers in the European Union was $2,220 per ton, up 16% from the previous year. Average prices varied somewhat between major importing countries. In 2021, the main importing countries recorded the following prices: in Portugal ($2,493 per ton) and Germany ($2,489 per ton), while the Czech Republic ($1,840 per ton) and Sweden (1 $865 per ton) were among the lowest.
