With funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, they can hold music lessons on Tuesday mornings at 10 a.m. for babies and preschoolers and messy art lessons on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
For school-age children, there are after-school classes all week long with art on Mondays and Wednesdays, a clay club on Thursdays and Fridays, and a sewing club on Tuesdays. All classes must be pre-booked through the website as places are limited.
As well as these low-cost courses, there are also many creative events for adults, including their hugely popular Gin and Tapas Nights featuring around 30 local Sussex and Kent gins and their Pottery Nights.
The Little Chelsea cafe is also offering a series of events planned for the February semester. The children’s workshops have just been released and are now available for online booking. There’s slime making, pottery painting with stencils, bear building, t-shirt design, clay monster making, and glass fusing.
